Lemon ginger kombucha is one of the more common flavors you find on store shelves. The great news is its just as easy to make yourself and you'll quickly realize its even more delicious with home brew!
We use this recipe on its own, and also as a base for other flavors like:
- Lemon ginger blueberry kombucha
- Lemon ginger cayenne kombucha
- Lemon ginger basil turmeric kombucha
When flavoring with citrus always remove the skin so it doesn't flavor your kombucha with a bitter taste. For this recipe we prefer juicing the lemon.
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped ginger
Add ingredients to bottom of bottle and pour fresh home-brewed kombucha on top. Fill to the top and seal tightly to promote carbonation. Store in a dark, closed cabinet for 2-4 days.
*Measurements are based off a 16oz lass bottle. Have fun with your flavoring, there is no need to be exact.
