Lemon Ginger Kombucha

Recipe for lemon ginger kombucha by YEABUCHA

Lemon ginger kombucha is one of the more common flavors you find on store shelves. The great news is its just as easy to make yourself and you'll quickly realize its even more delicious with home brew

We use this recipe on its own, and also as a base for other flavors like:

  • Lemon ginger blueberry kombucha
  • Lemon ginger cayenne kombucha
  • Lemon ginger basil turmeric kombucha

When flavoring with citrus always remove the skin so it doesn't flavor your kombucha with a bitter taste. For this recipe we prefer juicing the lemon.

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp chopped ginger

Lemon ginger kombucha recipeAdd ingredients to bottom of bottle and pour fresh home-brewed kombucha on top. Fill to the top and seal tightly to promote carbonation. Store in a dark, closed cabinet for 2-4 days.

*Measurements are based off a 16oz glass bottle. Have fun with your flavoring, there is no need to be exact.

  • Hi Tabitha, Our recipe is for one 16 oz bottle, that being said, kombucha is customizable to your preferred taste. If you don’t want the flavors as strong, don’t add as much fruit, but if you want a stronger flavor, add more. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are happy to help!

  • Hi! For the recipe do I add 1 tbsp of ginger and lemon to each bottle or is that the total I divide between all of the bottles?
