- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 cup organic cane sugar
- 1 cup strong (over brewed) kombucha
Directions: Muddle fruit and sugar and pour kombucha on top. Shake once a day for 1 week. Strain fruit and return liquid to a jar or bottle and let shrub continue to ferment for 8 weeks at room temperature. Your shrub is now ready to be added to the alcohol, juice or tea of your choice. Store in your refrigerator.
