Pumpkin Pie Kombucha

How to make pumpkin pie flavored kombucha by YEABUCHA

Pumpkin pie kombucha, you heard that right. This drink is very seasonal in our household, but when Fall is in full swing and we are craving all things pumpkin, it can't be beat! It is also a perfect substitute to pumpkin beer and cider.

This is one of the only instances you will find us recommending something canned over fresh. We recommend organic, unsweetened pumpkin that can be found at local grocery stores, especially in season.

2 tbs organic canned pumpkin

1 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp nutmeg

Add ingredients to the bottom of a 16 oz glass bottle.  Pour home made kombucha on top and tightly secure the cap to promote carbonation. Store in a dark, closed cabinet for 2-4 days based on flavor preference then transfer to refrigerator. If you are feeling extra fancy rim your glass with cinnamon and sugar. Cheers!

*Measurements are based on a 16oz bottle. Add more or less ingredients based on your own ideal taste.

  • This looks interesting. Are there dregs (undigested pumpkin) left in the bottom of the bottle that would be surprising to find in your mouth?

  • I have a new batch of booch brewing. Pumpkin spice is definitely going to be the next flavor!! Yummy!!
