Pumpkin pie kombucha, you heard that right. This drink is very seasonal in our household, but when Fall is in full swing and we are craving all things pumpkin, it can't be beat! It is also a perfect substitute to pumpkin beer and cider.
This is one of the only instances you will find us recommending something canned over fresh. We recommend organic, unsweetened pumpkin that can be found at local grocery stores, especially in season.
2 tbs organic canned pumpkin
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
Add ingredients to the bottom of a 16 oz glass bottle. Pour home made kombucha on top and tightly secure the cap to promote carbonation. Store in a dark, closed cabinet for 2-4 days based on flavor preference then transfer to refrigerator. If you are feeling extra fancy rim your glass with cinnamon and sugar. Cheers!
