Recipe for Plum Cardamom Kombucha by YEABUCHA

Trust us on this one, plum cardamom kombucha is delicious! Cardamom is a fragrant spice with a complex flavor that can range in spicy, minty, citrusy, and herbal all at the same time.

Plum provides a sweet flavor to balance out the robust notes of cardamom, with the final result being an unexpectedly delicious booch. 

1/3 plum slides into pieces

1/6 tsp cardamom

Add ingredients to the bottom of your glass bottles. Pour home brewed kombucha on top and fill all the way up.  Seal tightly and store in a dark cabinet for 2-4 days depending on ideal flavor. 

*Measurements are based on a 16oz bottle.  Add or subtract ingredients according to your ideal taste.

  • I was a little sceptical about plum and cardamom kombucha especially as I’m not all that fond of plums but I had some so gave it a go and I’m pleasantly surprised. I really like the kombucha. It’s an interesting flavour and will definitely make it again. Thanks so much for sharing the idea and recipe.
