Plum Cardamom Kombucha


  • 1 gallon of  home brew kombucha
  • 2 - 3 Plums
  • 1 tbsp Cardamom Pods

Directions: Pit & chop plums. Divide ingredients evenly into F2 brew jars. If using a 16oz jar, add 1/3 of a plum, sliced and 1/6 tsp of cardamom pods into each jar.  Pour home brewed kombucha on top and fill all the way up. Seal tightly and store in a dark cabinet for 2-4 days depending on ideal flavor.

  • I was a little sceptical about plum and cardamom kombucha especially as I’m not all that fond of plums but I had some so gave it a go and I’m pleasantly surprised. I really like the kombucha. It’s an interesting flavour and will definitely make it again. Thanks so much for sharing the idea and recipe.
