1 large slice of fresh mango
1/2 tsp dried elderberries
Chop up mango into small pieces and add to the bottom of your bottle along with dried elderberries. Pour fresh brewed kombucha on top. Seal tightly and store in a dark, closed cabinet for 3-4 days before moving to the refrigerator.
The color of your kombucha will change a lot during F2. What starts as a light tea color will darken into a color that could almost be mistaken for red wine.
